White wood is an off-white marble with wood veins, known for its spectacle of "ordinary wood". The origin of the marble is the Guizhou region of China, so it is also called wood grain marble or beige serpeggiante marble.

1. White wood is really limestone!

White wood marble is a limestone whose main element is calcium carbonate (CaCO3).

2. It really uses a natural powder structure

Although it has a very similar texture and regularity to marble, there is one very noticeable difference. One of the important roles is that the formation process of limestone has not undergone the denaturation and crystallization of marble.

As a result, limestone provides a great powder structure in construction. It looks crowded, but in reality it is not inherently the same as the crystalline structure of marble and granite.

3. Physical function

Limestone is fragile and its peculiar bending volume appearance, curvature and compressive strength are certainly not great.

4. A lot of water

The preparation and powder construction of calcium carbonate make the water price of limestone generally higher.

We had very similar activities on the wood grain stone in Kaifeng: we sprinkled some water on the wood grain stone, and this water was easily assimilated! This effect is obviously different from the reaction when sprinkled on marble, granite and other stone surfaces.

Make sure you identify bright white wood marble by using a few questions. "Crystal wood marble is common, red ranges or spots, dark grey spots, and fractures. Allow me to share high quality standards:

TOP QUALITY: 1 or 2 simple crystal face lines throughout the board, no red face lines and dark grey spots and breaks!

MEDIUM QUALITY: The whole piece is made using 2 or 3 3mm-5mm crystal face lines without dark grey spots.

Commercially Good Quality: The whole piece is made using some crystal face lines and dark grey flecks.

These high-quality ordinary models are definitely not repaired, and are really just for your reference when purchasing soft wood grain marble! Also, the cost depends on the quantity and the relationship with the supplier!
